"Bunches of Quality"

Client: Lee Brands

Background: Lee Brands, a grower/shipper of asparagus and other fresh vegetables, was looking to update its image. Through the summer of 2000, Lee Brands had been a part of another larger company. In the fall of that year Lee Brands became its own separate company. Because their brand had not received much attention, it needed a new fresh look to stand on its own and get attention.

Objective: To create a new image for Lee Brands through advertising and collateral and create an overall theme that conveys leadership and consistent quality.

Result: Bunches of Quality.
As a year-round grower/shipper of asparagus and green onions, Lee Brands chose this theme to emphasize their consistent quality. These product sheets demonstrate the high-end photography and design that was created for Lee Brands to help reinforce their position of leadership in the industry. Their ads and other collateral pieces use the same red and black composition that gives Lee Brands a memorable and easily recognizable identity.

"Young & Tender Spinach"

Client: NewStar

Background: In 1998, NewStar launched a new product, Young & Tender spinach. This product was a new concept in spinach and needed a high-quality presentation to convey its uniqueness.

Objective: To create a high-end product sheet. The design of the product sheet has a clean, bright, attention-getting look that complements the vibrant colors of the Young & Tender packaging and it is easily adaptable to any NewStar product.

Result: Sales of Young & Tender Spinach increased 30% over the first year. The line now has three additional spinach salad kits to complement the original product.
